About T.C.

T.C. is a writer, radio and television personality, entrepreneur and native Washingtonian.  A graduate of Hampton University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, T.C. is currently Lead Host of DC's TV-13 covering the City Council and a personality on WJZW Smooth Jazz 105.9 radio.  She pens her weekly column for Fox TV website (www.myvoicedc.com/sistacircle.html ). As founder and CEO of TCB Enterprises, TC has produced her empowering, women-targeted website (www.SistaCircle.com) since 2001. Her broadcasting career has taken her on morning-drive hosting stints and TV reporting gigs in Norfolk, Houston, Philadelphia and finally home to DC (WMMJ, WHUR and WJZW), where she is thrilled to be back in her hometown close to family and friends!

 

Selected by Regis Philbin as a top ten finalist in his "Live with Regis Women of Radio Co-host Search" in 2001, T.C. has also been featured in several national publications, including U.S.A. Today, and Essence, Upscale and Emerge Magazines. Essence Magazine featured her as one it's most successful single moms. She has been in numerous TV commercials and seen on the Fox-TV show Martin, and UPN's The Parkers.

In 2001, pop icon Dick Clark signed her to a three year deal as host of a syndicated radio program saluting R&B music legends. "We Remember with TC," was distributed and heard in cities nationwide, thru Clark's company United Stations Radio Networks in New York City.

In addition, T.C. was the reporter for the acclaimed "Cool Schools" show on CBS's Houston affiliate KHOU-TV, and she served as a columnist for The Houston Chronicle and The Philadelphia Sunday Sun newspapers.

T.C. represents the "female-point-of-view," and is known for "keepin' it real," as in her women-related on-air information segment Sista Circle, for which she has won three Achievement in Radio (A.I.R.) Awards.
